This page explains how to delete your account for Higher, the mobile app published by Higher LLC, and what happens to your data when you do.

How to delete your account

Option 1 — In the Higher app

  1. Open the Higher app and make sure you're signed in.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings menu and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm when prompted. Your account and the data associated with it are scheduled for deletion right away.

Option 2 — By email request

If you've already removed the app or can't sign in, email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account, with the subject line "Delete my account." Please include your account email or username so we can verify the request. We'll process verified requests within 30 days and email you to confirm once it's complete.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data tied to your Higher account, including:

  • Your account profile and username
  • Your email address and contact details
  • Referral and waitlist data associated with your account
  • Customer-support correspondence
  • App usage and analytics data linked to your account

What data is kept, and for how long

  • Legal and compliance records: We may retain a limited subset of data where we're required to for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. This is kept only as long as applicable law requires, then deleted.
  • Backups: Residual copies in our encrypted backups are purged within 90 days of deletion.
  • On-chain data: Higher is non-custodial — we never hold your funds or private keys. Your wallet's balances and transactions live on the public Solana blockchain, are not controlled by Higher, and cannot be deleted by us or anyone else. Your assets remain yours and stay accessible with your seed phrase in any Solana wallet, independent of your Higher account.

Retention summary

  • Account data: deleted within 30 days of a verified request (immediately when you delete in-app).
  • Backup copies: purged within an additional 90 days.
  • Legally required records: retained only for the minimum period required by law.
